Principal Responsibilities/Duties

  • Meet with business stakeholders and users to fully understand the problems they are seeking to resolve, and opportunities they would like to unlock via system development, producing structured requirements/user stories to document these
  • Challenge users to identify edge cases and scenarios which would be used as tests and success criteria for the required development
  • Work to produce a basic business case/justification for the development and present this as part of regular project prioritisation sessions
  • Together with systems architects, work to find an acceptable technical solution that meets business needs, adjusting scope or approach as needed and gaining stakeholder agreement for any changes in approach or compromises required
  • Participate in UAT and post-delivery review for systems development

  • Prior experience in a similar role due to the requirement of establishing ways of working Job
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and bringing structure
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical people
  • Ambitious, team player with ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to collaborate with others
  • A thorough understanding of applications and systems – ideally billing and CRM platforms
  • The ability to perform well under pressure
